Conditions for using IFSCPIN.in, its source directory, tools, widget and developer API.
Effective date: 17 July 2026. By using IFSCPIN.in you agree to these terms. Stop using the service if you do not agree.
Informational utility
The site provides source-attributed directory records and educational tools. It is not a bank, payment processor, India Post service, regulator, credit adviser, legal adviser or remittance provider. A lookup does not verify a beneficiary, account ownership, service availability or transaction outcome.
Permitted use
You may use the public website for lawful personal or business reference. You may link to public pages. Automated access must use the documented API or approved widget and comply with quotas, attribution and origin restrictions.
Prohibited use
You must not attempt to bypass authentication or rate limits, scrape protected or noindex pages at harmful scale, introduce malware, probe credentials, impersonate the publisher or an official body, remove required attribution, resell free-tier API access, or use data to facilitate fraud, harassment or unlawful financial activity.
Data and corrections
Source data can be incomplete, inconsistent or superseded. Submit a correction with evidence rather than assuming the site can directly change an official record. Editorial overlays are identified separately from raw imported data.
API and widget
Keys remain the property of the service and may be suspended for abuse, security risk, inaccurate registration or quota evasion. Browser origins must be approved for browser use. Field names and versioning are documented; breaking changes will use a new API version where practical.
Commercial services
Paid API access remains unavailable until pricing, taxes, support, cancellation and payment terms are explicitly configured. A payment reference does not create a paid entitlement unless the administrator confirms activation.
Availability
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, hosting limits, source updates or security response. Cached public results may be used during brief database interruptions but should be read with their displayed source date.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a guarantee of accuracy, fitness, uninterrupted availability, ranking, advertising approval or revenue. You remain responsible for confirming critical details and authorizing transactions.
